Suggest a mosque or report an update
Use the form to prepare an email in your own email app. You can suggest a mosque that is missing from the Directory or report a change to an existing listing. The form itself does not submit or store information on the website. If it does not open, email [email protected].
Include the mosque name, its full address, and its official website if possible. For an existing listing, also include the Directory page URL, what is wrong, and what it should say. Tell us your relationship to the mosque and provide an official mosque or timetable source where possible. Do not include identity documents or unnecessary sensitive personal information.
The form offers these request types:
- add a new mosque;
- prayer or jamaat times;
- mosque name or address;
- website;
- map location;
- takedown or privacy request; and
- something else.
Coordinate corrections
Include the latitude and longitude, whether it is the building or an entrance, and an opaque ticket or observation reference. Do not copy coordinates from a third-party map or geocoder.
If authorised by the mosque to provide a point, include this statement:
I confirm that I am authorised by the mosque to provide this location. The coordinates come from the mosque's own knowledge or device and were not copied from a third-party map or geocoder. I grant the UK Mosque Jamaat Directory permission to store, publish, and redistribute them as part of its ODC-By 1.0 database.
The declaration is kept in the private review record. The sender's name, contact details, and private evidence link are not published as coordinate provenance.
What happens next
Sirat checks reports against an official mosque, timetable, or suitable public source and may ask for clarification. Supported changes are corrected, hidden, or removed. Unclear cases may remain unpublished during review.
If you own material or represent a listed mosque and want it removed, give the exact URL, the reason, and enough information to establish your relationship to it. Sirat will consider privacy, intellectual-property, safety, and accuracy requests promptly and may restrict the record while investigating.
A coordinate correction, privacy, safety, or licensing request places a durable hold on the coordinate and removes it from public location and timetable surfaces during review. Clearing a hold does not restore an old coordinate; publication requires a new reviewed acquisition record.
Urgent changes and scope
This is not an emergency communication channel. Publish urgent timetable changes through the mosque's normal official channels first, then send that source. Mosque Times by Sirat is a best-effort UK directory, does not cover every mosque, and is not an authority on religious practice.
