Mosque Times by Sirat is a free, independent, non-commercial service. These terms govern the hosted website and UK Mosque Jamaat Directory public API. They do not add restrictions to reuse of the published JSON dataset, which is governed by ODC-By 1.0 and applicable law.
Using the hosted service
You may browse and use the public read-only API without an account or API key. You must not disrupt or overload it, evade rate limits or access controls, attempt unauthorised access, test security without prior permission, use it unlawfully, infringe another person's rights, or automate access in a way that prevents reasonable use by others.
Published rate limits are part of these terms. Cache responses where appropriate, respect 429 and Retry-After, and contact [email protected] before sustained high-volume use.
Timetable accuracy
The Directory republishes jamaat information from public sources. Coverage is incomplete, and a listed time or venue detail may be missing, stale, delayed, or wrong. Confirm important arrangements with the mosque or linked official source. “Jamaat” means the published congregational time, not the beginning of the prayer window.
Availability and changes
The hosted service is provided as available, without a promise of continuous availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Sirat may protect, limit, suspend, change, or withdraw access where reasonably necessary. Planned breaking API contract changes will use a new version prefix; urgent security, legal, or protective changes may be applied without advance notice.
Intellectual property and responsibility
The Directory's application and website code, design, and original writing are proprietary and not open source. The structured public JSON dataset is separately licensed under ODC-By. Third-party material is not relicensed.
You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable law and the dataset licence. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, the operator is not responsible for loss caused by reliance on inaccurate third-party data or interruption of this free service.
